PROPRIETOR
Bill Kmitts has been a licensed cosmetologist since 1971. He began his career with Glemby International Salons in Cleveland Ohio. During his years with Glemby, he attended several advanced training seminars. In the fall of 1976 he transfered with Glemby to Washington DC as a manager and senior stylist at the Woodward & Lothrop Salon . By 1979 he wanted to experience the private sector of the industry from
Robin Weir & Co.
all the way to Harlow Inc.
In August 2006 he used his collective experience and knowledge to open his own Salon and Spa. Located in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in the nation's Capital. He is proud to welcome Political figures and residents alike to enjoy the comfort and exceptional service of his spacious and beautiful Salon and Spa just two blocks away from the Historic Library of Congress.
ROBB LASHLEY
SALON COORDINATOR
Graduating with an English Creative Writing/Theater Double Degree from VCU in the early 90's, Robb has gone through the true GEN X lifestyle. Venturing through the odd jobs of Theater Manager, Music Store Manager, Body-Guard/Bouncer, Musician, Stand-Up Poet, Artist, Writer, Restaurant /B&B Manager, and finally resting upon the lifestyle of a Bartender for the last half decade or so in DC; Robb has graciously decided to spend his time in a much more artistic capacity of helping people become more beautiful for everyday life both spiritually and physically by introducing them to the people that make the difference. Having become a certified Reicki Master in the late 90's hopefully you will experience his ENERGY over the phone or live in person.
ANDRE
SKIN THERAPIST & MAKE UP ARTIST
Hailing literally from the hills and mountains of Austria, where he received extensive training in the European tradition of Skincare and Make up application, Andre left his native Austria to work for the Cruise industry.
He moved to Washington, DC 14 years ago. During this time he attended many advance classes in Skin Therapy and has received various diplomas from Dermalogica. He also worked as a make up artist, for
various television shows,
the 4th of July and Memorial day concerts on the National Mall,
theater, fashion shows and photo shoots.

SENIOR STYLIST /COLOR SPECIALIST
Coming to the AVA family from Augusta GA, Bill's mission statement is

after all you are my guest"
He stays on the "cutting edge" by continuously attending advance classes in hair design and coloring
He also worked on Television shows.
STEVEN WALDMAN
With over 16 years in the business Steve has experience in many facets of the beauty industry. A hairdresser, educator, platform artist and editorial stylist his work has been featured on television, stage and print.
As a visionary member of the Logics Art Team he regularly teaches at their Global Academy in New York City, and is a creative consultant in the development of new hair color and hair care products.
Steve's resume includes The Tony Awards, New York Fashion Week, Vogue and People Magazine. His client list features, the cast of Seinfeld and the West Wing, Katie Holmes and Al Pacino.

SULTANA (SANDRA) CHRECKY

COLOR SPECIALIST
Sultana graduated from Robert Louis Hair Concept in 1983
Her extensive training took her from the Sassoon Academy in London to Loreal Paris ant the Wella Academy in Israel. She is constantly attending continuous education, most recently with Wella and Tony & Guy New York
